Jupiter just entered Leo, the sign of the king. And within twenty-four hours, the king(s) started facing the law.
In astrology, Jupiter is the law. Justice. The higher court. Leo is the throne, the ruler, the one who acts as if the rules do not reach him.
Put them together and the law walks straight into the throne room.
The forty-eight hours
His day-one order to end birthright citizenship, struck down by the highest court on June 30. Every judge who read it called it blatantly unconstitutional. The Fourteenth Amendment held. The law said no.
Her name is E. Jean Carroll. A jury found the King liable for sexually abusing her, and for defaming her when she came forward. He tried to erase the verdict. On June 29, the Supreme Court refused to hear him. Five million dollars. For sexual abuse. For defamation. The finding stands.
They pulled the slavery history from the museums. A federal judge ordered every panel back, by July 4. A dangerous precedent of censorship, she wrote. They tried to rewrite the nation’s history with a white-out pen. You do not get to sanitize a nation’s memory.
Three collisions with the law. As Jupiter crossed the line into the sign of the king.
The Capricorn Full Moon rings the bell
On June 29, the Full Moon rose at 8 degrees Capricorn.
Capricorn is the mountain. The hierarchy. The structure, the authority, the office, the one who holds power and answers for it, the responsible one. A Full Moon is culmination. It is the light that reveals what a cycle has actually built while no one was looking during the previous eighteen months. And this one squares Saturn, the lord of accountability, the ruler of Capricorn coming to ring his own karmic bell.
The bell rings on integrity. On accountability. On leadership. On how rulership has been led.
Now hold the precision, because this is where astrology stops being poetry and becomes architecture. Eighteen months ago, the New Moon in Capricorn planted a seed at 8 degrees, it was the beginning of this precise family phase cycle unfolding around 8 degrees Capricorn. 8 degrees Capricorn is exactly opposing the US king Mercury in Cancer…
December 30, 2024. Three weeks before he was sworn in, the very season he took the throne. That New Moon opened a cycle. And this Full Moon, eighteen months later, lights 8 degrees Capricorn. The same degree. The seed was planted at the mountain when he rose. Yes, astro is that precise.
Whatever began when he took power is being brought into full illumination. And illumination is not gentle. It shows what is there.
The record reopens
At the same time, Mercury turned retrograde.
Mercury is the scribe of this reckoning. The voice. The testimony. The record. Retrograde, it goes back. It reopens the file. It rehears what was dismissed the first time. It rewrites the story.
It is retracing the same degrees of Cancer Jupiter went retrograde on so hit three times, and it is coming soon on America’s own Mercury at 24 degrees Cancer, in the 8th house. The 8th house is the buried, the taboo, the shared and hidden power. It is exactly where Jupiter stationed and exposed the Epst-ein files.
The scribe returns to the scene. The file is open again.
From the family to the throne
For a full year, Jupiter moved through Cancer. Most astrologers spoke only of the blessing. Abundance, protection, family, belonging.
But Cancer is also the nursery. The nest. The bloodline. What is kept behind the walls of the home. And Jupiter does not only expand what is good. It expands whatever it touches. And it can often point to the ogre in the chart, the one devouring by desire to get bigger….
In Cancer, Jupiter pointed to the devouring Ogre inside the nest, it exposed who devours instead of protect in families and institutions.
We saw the abuse of women and children being exposed.
The way the law failed to protect them while shielding the very ones entrusted to protect. The place that should be safest becoming the place the harm is done. The protector turned predator. The ogre in the nursery.
Now Jupiter leaves Cancer and enters Leo. And the reckoning does not end. Jupiter does not stop pointing at the devouring. It changes its face.
In Leo, Jupiter points to the devouring king, the one who believed himself above the law. The archetype climbs the hierarchy. And for the first time, it confronts the Law itself.
The arrow is only changed direction.
And this is not only one nation
France rises in Aries, and carries its deepest secret in the 7th house, Jupiter conjunct Neptune at the fifth degree of Scorpio. Boundaryless sexuality, secrecy, power, the hidden. For decades it was dressed in Libra sophistication and called seduction. The buried feminine sat silenced at the very floor of the chart. The moon in Cancer on the IC of the 5th Republic chart.
Then the outer planets came for it all at once. And the silence broke. Famous men began falling one after another. More than two hundred and eighty towns took to the streets. Stories of incest and abuse came flooding out.
A deep abscess finally opening. The justice system being forced back to its only real purpose, to protect those most in need instead of shielding the predators inside families, institutions, and thrones.
This is Medusa rising. The buried feminine speaking through generations of women. The lineage finding its voice. And shame, at last, changing sides. (see previous essays about Medusa Rising)
Two nations. One buried architecture. The same law being dragged back to what it was for.
July 4, the lightning
On July 4, the deadline the court set for the slavery panels to return to the museums, Mars meets Uranus at 4 degrees Gemini.
Mars is the match. Uranus is the powder.
Together they are the spark, the rupture, the sudden break in the pattern. In evolutionary astrology Uranus carries both the trauma and the liberation, the shock that shatters and the shock that frees. Mars brings the fire and the timing.
This is the aspect of the earthquake. Literal, in the ground. And human, in the street.
It falls in Gemini, the sign of voice and wire and word. So the eruption comes through what is said, and what breaks in the news. Information detonating.
Aquarian voices street talking. One voice lighting the next until thousands are speaking at once.
This is the same Uranus in Gemini that has been cracking the collective throat open all year, the revolution that moves through language. Now Mars sets a match to it.
And it lands on the martial nerve of nations. Transiting Mars and Uranus sit right on France’s own Mars at 2 degrees Gemini, so time of Mars return, the drive of a country already in revolution, and square natal Pluto in the 6th shaking a system rooted in a buried oppression by hierarchy.
France has already planed for that day a hige protest against pedocriminality.
The date, July 4, is also the two hundred and fiftieth birthday of the United States.
A nation will throw itself a party on the very day the ground moves under it.
Be ready for the big shake.
Because what strikes the match on the fourth, the sky delivers in full on the nineteenth.
July 19, the basket
Mark the date. July 19 into July 20.
Jupiter opposes Pluto. The law against the criminal power. And the elite against the People.
The power of the people asking for the buried to come out, and for the kings to face justice. It lands on the nodes of America, and it squares the natal Jupiter of France.
And it does not come alone. Four heavyweights lock at the same degree.
Jupiter at 4 Leo. Pluto at 4 Aquarius. Neptune at 4 Aries. Uranus at 4 Gemini.
The opposition, Leo against Aquarius, the kings against the people, is the base of the basket. Uranus and Neptune weave the handle across the top. And Chiron, the wound of wealth and worth, sits at the pivot. The whole sky braided into one structure.
This is what André Barbault named. The mundane master I sat with in France when I was very young for a reading.
He saw this window coming decades ago. He read the 2026 sky as the most benefic configuration of the century. Not the end of the world. The end of an order.
He named the years 2025 to 2030 the best period of the century, a splendid relaunch of civilization. The basket, he said, is where the old breaks and the new is born.
This is the man who predicted the crisis of 2020 from an essay written in 2011. So when he calls this a threshold, we listen. The kings falling is just the beginning and god we have been waiting so long for it.

If you carry a planet or an angle at 0 to 5 degrees of the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, you are in it. If you have anything at 2 to 5 degrees of the mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, you are in it. The early cardinal degrees feel it too, Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn.
